| Tiana Dubois-Schmillen Licensed Kindermusik Educator Tiana was born and raised in the Sacramento area. She studied music and dance at American River College and Elementary Education at Sacramento State. As a wife and mother she knows the importance of the parent child bond that Kindermusik fosters. Tiana has an 8 year old son named Cole and a baby girl named Leyla just born last August. She started in early childhood education in high school as a volunteer for local pre-schools and moved on to being a nanny. With a family of her own she is now an avid volunteer at her sons elementary school. She is both Art and Science docent as well as helping in class when needed. Tiana started her love of music at the age of 5 when she started studying dance. While studying everything from square dancing to ballet to hip hop and more she discovered her love for making music. She sang in choirs, including American River College and studied piano and voice. Deciding to include all aspects of music in her background she majored in music business and audio engineering (recording) all of which meant that she too had to learn to be the musical artist. Tiana first discovered Kindermusik when she enrolled her son in the Village program when he was 1 year old. Knowing how much her son enjoyed the program, her daughter has already started her Kindermusik experience. Seeing the benefits of Kindermusik work on her child's development, combined with her love of music, she decided to become a Kindermusik Educator. |
